Search Seven are delighted that the ‘Search Seven XI vs TMBU XI’ rematch will be held at the AMEX in May 2017.

This will be the 4th year in a row that Search Seven are hosting a charity event, with it being the second football match competing for the illustrious trophy, after the previous game ended in a 4-4 draw at Shoreham FC in 2014 (see the round-up video)

The TMBU (Trevor Mann Baby Unit) is part of the Rockinghorse Appeal, and is the flagship charity of Search Seven, with the ‘Ted’s Trophy’ being the flagship event. Ted (pictured right in his seagulls shirt when younger) is the godson of Gavin, MD of Search Seven, and had a tough start to life.

The fantastic care and attention that TMBU dedicated to Ted in the first two weeks of his life was unbelievable, and ever since, family and friends have continued to show their gratitude to the TMBU to thank them for ALL the great work they do for families across Sussex (ready Ted’s full story here), hence why the Ted’s Trophy was formed.

This will be the biggest ‘S7 Ted’s Trophy’ event to date, and a real landmark event too, as Search Seven also celebrate turning 5 years old as a digital marketing agency, as well as breaking
through the 1 million turnover threshold in late 2016.

So the event will be a very special celebration, and we hope that we can all raise as much money as possible for the TMBU, and that players and spectators have a fantastic evening!
