What started you out in a career in Digital Marketing?
I found a small marketing agency with a job description referencing PPC and SEO which didn’t mean too much to me at the time, although the reference to Google made it sound like it could be exciting so I went along to find out more.

Fast forward several years and I was involved in the digital marketing for some very big brands, attending prestigious awards shows and attending conferences for an industry that is constantly evolving. It does keep you on your toes.

Tell us a little bit about your career journey before starting at Search Seven
Before going back into an agency I was working on the marketing team in what was described to me as the “niche travel industry”, which in reality was sending groups of stags and hens on boozy weekends throughout Europe.

What do you like most about working at Search Seven?
It’s good to work for a company which places so much emphasis on fundraising for charities, and then seeing the impact that has on people within the local community.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Kicking back with a beer in the garden.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
Being “forced” to watch Love Island.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An astronaut. Obviously.

What’s your go-to karaoke song?
Zombie by The Cranberries.

Which three people – dead or alive – would you invite round for dinner/choose to go to the pub with?
Billy Connolly, Robin Williams and Bill Murray.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
Invisibility.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I participated in the UK Rock, Paper & Scissors Championship.
