What started you out in a career in Digital Marketing?

After completing my Masters Degree from the University of Leeds, I joined a small marketing agency in Essex, learning all different parts of offline & online marketing but the online side really excited me and I favoured it over anything else. I really enjoyed PPC the most and took it from there onwards as my career!

 

What was your most recent role and what you did you enjoy about it?

Head of Paid Media at Reddico. I enjoyed the small company family feel after being at Mediacom for over 4 years beforehand. A smaller agency allows you to have a proper working relationship with clients and we were able to put a lot of ideas in motion that focused on staff wellbeing and culture too. It was a great learning experience.

 

What attracted to you the role at Search Seven?

The charity & team ethos of Search Seven is highly commendable and the fact that the team was small but doing so well was hugely attractive to me, as it should be to anyone! I could really see myself fitting in and making a positive impact, taking all of my past experience and putting it to good use across the whole company.

 

What’s your guilty pleasure?

The band McFly! haha.

 

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

Probably being used as a climbing frame by my two girls!

 

What is your hobby/passion?

I enjoy PC gaming – including VR which is a lot of fun! I also follow football closely – I’m sadly an Arsenal fan which is nothing to shout about nowadays! haha
