Objective

Working closely with Sussex’s strategic marketing partner, Pleece & Co, Sussex County Cricket Club had the aim of increasing online ticket sales for the T20 games to bring more spectators to the matches during the summer competition.

Solution

Following thorough strategic research, with the aim of understanding user behaviour and audience demographics, targeted Adwords and Facebook campaigns were built to capture this audience. This was followed by a display campaign which was able to successfully re-engage with people who had previously visited the site and improve conversion rates. These highly targeted campaigns, combined with time sensitive ad messaging saw year-on-year ROI increases of 365%.
